“Spanish for Me” is the latest launch of our Spanish school, Hola Que Tal Education and Languages of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In 1994, we started to teach Spanish to Brazilian students. We realised the importance of having our tutors speaking the same language as our students, in order to teach our students a new language, and achieve better results, in the shortest possible time. We developed a methodology especially aimed at Portuguese speakers. The students, who in their vast majority were employed by companies, transmitted word-of-mouth as the most effective method of education.
Due to the lack of time that we have with our students (we have meetings; professional trips and other commitments that prevented us from participating in classes) we created our first online course, especially for students who speak Portuguese. Our course quickly conquered the Spanish education market for Brazilians’. Important companies form our portfolio of customers, these include: Natura; Johnson & Johnson; Amazon; Electrolux; Banco Santander; Procter & Gamble; Red Bull; Ernst Young; Sanofi and Kimberly Clark, among others.
To teach the Spanish language to students around the world, in a personalised, flexible, light and objective way, with a focus on the fluidity that each one needs, in the time that each one needs.
To keep up with trends in learning, and the needs of English speaking students, the “Spanish for Me” online course was developed. Basing ourselves on the experience we acquired with our online Spanish language course, “Hablando”, and because of the success that this method achieved, we launched “Spanish for Me”. This course is for people whose native language is English, or for those who speak English fluently. It was created with graphic animation and this allows the student to have, within their reach, the necessary content to learn Spanish, in a light and entertaining way. The students will learn the correct pronunciation of the letters in Spanish, and the fundamental differences between Spanish and English. We teach the language by studying the indispensable grammar in a playful and light manner. “Spanish for Me” will help students to use the necessary idiomatic skills to manage in the Spanish world and avoid cultural misunderstandings due to the incorrect use of the Spanish language. We now offer the complete basic Spanish course for English speakers, “Full Basic Course Spanish for Me”. It is useful for people who do not speak Spanish as well as for those who seek to only practise and perfect their fluidity. “ Spanish for Me” is a 24/7/365, non-stop service, online course. You decide whether 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, from anywhere on the planet.
With the pedagogical guidance of our director, Elsa Selener, the development of this course was completed with the invaluable collaboration of Professor Cristina Isenrath. For many years, students from all over the world who travel to the city of Mendoza in Argentina, chose to study Spanish with Professor Isenrath. Her experience with English speaking students allowed us to understand their difficulties with the language, and how to deal with them in the best possible way, while enhancing the student’s abilities to learn the language. The professional team of educators who support us in Spain and Latin America, allied with us in this unique methodology of “Hola Que Tal” and the versatility in our application of the modern tools of learning.
